Circle cycle route taking in the pasture plains of north Kerry and Limerick. The region is bordered to the west by the ocean and to the north by the estuary of the River Shannon. The route goes along the coast from Tralee, through Ballyheigue and Ballybunion seaside resorts and around Kerry Head, where it climbs to its highest point, 120m south of Limerick City, in the midst of steep hills there is Lough Gur, a reconstruction of Stone Age civilisation, and the picturesque village of Adare.
