Limerick has plenty of variety when it comes to the airwaves. Live 95 FM is Limerick's official radio station, followed by Limerick FM. Wired FM is LIT's, Limerick Art College's and Mary Imacculate's joint effort student radio station. The national classical station Lyric FM is based in Limerick as is the south west region's newest radio station - Spin South West. Limerick also has a radio club, called Southgate Amateur Radio Club.
