A celebration of the greatest historical figure of twentieth century Ireland. The picturesque village of Bruree is famous as the place in which academic, freedom-fighter, politician, statesman and one of the outstanding figures in twentieth century Ireland, Eamon de Valera, spent his childhood. The Centre uses audio-visuals, graphic panels and a unique display of personal memorabilia to tell the story of Eamon de Valera and of the area which formed his character.
