Leamhchoill - The Elm Wood.

The village of Loghill is located along the N.69 West of Foynes. On entering the village from Foynes, there are signs for Boyce Garden & Painting Studio which are open to the public May to October. These gardens contain herbacious beds, rock gardens, rosebeds, green and sun houses and herb garden. Beyond this junction is the Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the 'Our Lady of the Wayside' shrine overlooking the Shannon estuary. On crossing the bridge over the Ouvane River, there is a roadside picnic area, while further on is Kilteery Pier with an amenity area and panoramic views across the estuary and County Clare.
