Bothar - The Road.

At a crossroads, Boher is a small village of a few buildings, along the N.24 Limerick - Tipperary road. The two thatched pubs are the principal feature which provide traditional Irish music entertainment during the Summer Season. From Boher, at Downey Cross, one can access Cappamore and Murroe, Glenstal Abbey, The Clare Glens and Slieve Feilm Mountains. Nearby is the village of Caherconlish on the R.513 from which is signposted the important archaeological site at Lough Gur.
